Holiday Home Sitting
In Norfolk on holiday? Planning to visit a human-only attraction or relax with a meal out? Our extended drop-in visits would be perfect. Drop-ins are the perfect way to entertain and reduce anxiety. Ideal for young, anxious or elderly dogs. Fresh food and water will be provided. They can be let into the secure garden for toilet breaks, playtime and a fuss with your dog’s consent and only as much as they can do.

Cat Sitting
Does your cat prefer their home environment? If you are away on holiday, have a hospital visit planned (or unexpected) or you are out all day, then I can offer cat visits. The visit can include food and fresh water, letting in or out of the house unless they are house cats, cleaning litter trays, play and entertainment, as well as lots of fuss and attention.

Puppy Visits
Have you just welcomed a new puppy to the family? It can be worrying to leave them alone all day. I can visit your puppy, relieve any boredom, reduce anxiety and provide some fun for them. This will also do wonders for their socialisation. It is advised that young puppies are not left alone for more than 3 hours at a time.
Whilst visiting your puppy I can:
- Help with toilet training
- Let your puppy out in your secure garden for a toilet break
- Feed and provide the puppy with fresh water
- Aid in basic skills such as sit and down
- Clean up any accidents
- Give your puppy lots of attention.
After each visit, I will send you pictures and an update, however short, just to let you know how they are doing.

Other Pet Visits
I will clean your pet out and make sure they have fresh water and food. I will give lots of fuss and attention on my visit to relieve boredom and reduce anxiety. I will send regular updates and photos for your peace of mind.

About Stay Sitting
My name is Shadow and I have been surrounded by animals since I was a child. My mother took in waifs and strays so we had an abundance of cats, dogs, chickens, budgies, geese, rabbits, a tortoise, bees and goats. As a teenager, I cleaned out pigs and horses at the local farm in exchange for riding lessons.
As an adult, that love of animals hasn’t left me and I have had some really lovely dogs, including our two rescues. They are a lovable handful, but we are enjoying the process of letting them know that not all humans will treat them badly.
We also have cats, chickens and until recently rats.
I volunteer at a local wild and exotic animal rescue, which has been an amazing experience letting me see some creatures I may never have had the pleasure of meeting otherwise.
After running a successful landscaping and garden design company for 18 years, it is time for a change and what is better than another passion of mine?
In addition to my animal care experience, I am completing my SEG Awards Level 4 Certificate in Professional Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, Dog Day Care and Home Boarding.

The process usually starts with a meeting with you and your pets, letting them get to know me slowly with their trusted person around. You can give me all the information I need to make them comfortable and provide them with an experience they will enjoy.
Regular pictures and updates of your pet can be sent for your peace of mind.
Extras
My visits can include extras like making sure the post is put safely inside, putting bins out and watering plants.
DBS CHECKED
I am fully insured and have my DBS check, which can be viewed if required.

How long are the visits?

Where can you visit?
I can visit in a roughly 15 mile radius and I am in Norwich three time a week.
Can you do weekends?
I usually have a couple of slots but it is worth phoning first to find out my availability.
